^The American Revolution^
The Revolutionary war was a war between Great Britain an America. The colonists were dissatisfied with the British and their unfair laws. They imposed taxes without representation and they treated the colonists unfairly. Theey controlled the colonists and used them. The colonists couldn't take it antmore and they had to fight back. The colonists did many protests and boycotts. Some protests &boycotts that lead to The American Revolution are , The Boston Tea Party, The Stamp Act , Sugar Act , The Quartering Act, and The Boston Massacre. -There were many events in this war. On July 4, 1776, the colonies declared independence from England. The Battle Of Saratoga was the turning point of the war. The colonists finally won that battle. The colonists had a couple advantages, they were fighting for their homes , they had help from friends and families, and they had help from other countries that didn't like England. Finally at The Battle of Yorktown Lord Conwallis a british general, surrendered to George Washington. This maked the end of the war.
